How to qualify

To qualify for appliance rebates, you must:

  • Be a residential customer connected to the Ontario electricity grid.‡

  • Have an existing electric appliance in need of replacing.

  • Purchase a new, eligible appliance. Used or refurbished appliances do not qualify.

  • Submit your rebate application within 60 days of purchasing the appliance.

‡ Cornwall Electric customers are connected to the Hydro-Québec electricity grid and therefore are not eligible to participate.

How to apply for your appliance rebate

  1. Purchase an eligible appliance from any retailer, online or in-store.
  2. Apply for your rebate by clicking the Apply for rebate button below. Upload your receipt within 60 days of purchase to receive your rebate.
  3. Install your new appliance and recycle/properly dispose of your old one.
